1. Scope of Services
1.1 Centralized Bookkeeping Services
LedgerLane provides centralized bookkeeping services designed for small and medium enterprises. Our team maintains and organizes your account records, prepares regular reports, and ensures timely filing of required statements.
1.2 Digital Products
LedgerLane offers digital products such as guides, templates, and e-manuals that support internal record keeping, reporting workflows, and compliance overviews.
1.3 Physical Products
LedgerLane may supply printed manuals, workbooks, or other tangible materials that complement our bookkeeping offerings.
2. Orders and Acceptance
All orders are subject to acceptance by LedgerLane. Acceptance occurs when we send a confirmation email or begin service delivery. We reserve the right to decline any order without liability.
3. Pricing and Payment
All fees are quoted in Canadian dollars. Invoices are issued upon order confirmation or at agreed milestones. Payments are due according to the payment terms specified in your invoice. Late payments may incur a processing surcharge.
4. Refund and Cancellation Policy
4.1 Bookkeeping Services
Clients may cancel scheduled bookkeeping engagements at least 7 days before the service start date for a full credit toward future service. Cancellations within 7 days incur a 50% fee on the scheduled service. Once work has begun, services are non-refundable due to the bespoke nature of record management and dedicated resource allocation. Credits may be applied to another period or passed to another entity within your organization.
4.2 Digital Products
Clients may request a refund within 14 days of download if the digital product remains unused. Proof of non-usage must be provided. After 14 days or after any portion of the product has been accessed, no refund is available.
4.3 Physical Products
Return requests for unopened physical products must be made within 14 days of delivery. Clients bear return shipping costs. Upon receipt and inspection, refunds will be issued via the original payment method within 30 days. Opened or damaged items are not eligible for a refund.
5. Service Scheduling and Rescheduling
Clients may request to reschedule bookkeeping sessions up to 7 days before the appointment. Requests made less than 7 days in advance may incur a rescheduling fee equal to 25% of the session fee.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, methodologies, templates, and materials provided by LedgerLane remain our exclusive property. Clients receive a limited, non-transferable license to use such materials for internal purposes only.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LedgerLane’s total liability under these terms shall not exceed the total fees paid by the client in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Amendments
LedgerLane may update these terms at any time. We will notify clients of significant changes by email. Continued use of our services after notification constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada.
